Sudoku Hurdle Terms of Use
Last updated: August 28, 2026
Summary
Sudoku Hurdle is made by RopoLabs. You may play it; you may not tamper with the leaderboard or resell the app. Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds and cancellations go through Apple, not through us.
1. The licence
Sudoku Hurdle is licensed, not sold. Your licence to use the app is Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies in full. These terms sit alongside it and cover the service — the leaderboard, the daily puzzle and the coin economy — rather than the app binary. Where the two genuinely conflict, Apple’s agreement wins.
2. Playing
You do not need an account. If you make one, keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
One person, one account. Do not automate the game, modify it, or otherwise file a time you did not actually achieve by solving the puzzle in the app.
3. The leaderboard
Leaderboard names are public. Choose one that is not offensive, not impersonating somebody, and not an advertisement. We may remove or reset a name that is any of those, and we may remove times we have good reason to believe were not honestly achieved.
Solve times are verified on our server. A submission that fails verification may be rejected or removed.
4. Coins, and what they are not
Coins are a feature of the game. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, cannot be transferred between accounts, and are not property. They exist only inside Sudoku Hurdle and can be changed or discontinued as the game changes.
Hints included with a puzzle are free. Coins are only for going beyond that allowance on Classic, and for opening a past day.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
Coin packs are one-off purchases. Sudoku Hurdle Plus is an auto-renewing subscription: it renews at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before that period ends, and your Apple account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours of the period ending.
You manage and cancel a subscription in your Apple ID settings, not in this app. Deleting your Sudoku Hurdle account does not cancel a subscription — cancel it with Apple first, or it will keep renewing.
Refunds are Apple’s to give. If Apple refunds a purchase, we are told, and the coins or the Plus period that purchase paid for are withdrawn.
Prices are shown in the app in your own currency, as reported by the App Store, and may change. A price change never applies retroactively to a purchase already made.
6. What Plus does and does not include
Plus removes the ads and opens every past daily puzzle. It does not make puzzles easier, it does not grant coins, and it does not affect your place on the leaderboard.
7. Availability
The daily puzzle, the leaderboard and the archive depend on our server. We try to keep it running and we do not promise that it always will be. Puzzles you have already started remain playable on your device.
We may change or discontinue features. If a change removes something you have paid for, we will say so rather than let it lapse quietly.
8. Ending it
You can stop using Sudoku Hurdle at any time, and delete your account from inside the app — read section 10 of the privacy policy for exactly what that does today. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, in particular one manipulating the leaderboard.
9. Liability
Sudoku Hurdle is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, RopoLabs is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it. Nothing here limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by agreement.
10. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top changes and the new version is published here. Continuing to play after that means the new version applies.
